We are a member supported, volunteer run gun club, which maintains 4 American-Style Trap fields.
We have a cozy log clubhouse with a wood burning fireplace, ample parking, renovated washroom facilities, a full kitchen, and large umbrellas over all 16 yard posts for sun and rain cover.
All of our facilities are mobility accessible.
Beyond the physical amenities we have a friendly, welcoming membership who like to share their knowledge and experience. If you’re just starting out we’re sure we can find someone to help get you going. -
If you are brand new to shooting, Trap shooting, or don’t even have your P.A.L (firearm’s license) we suggest you take our First Time Shooter course.
This course is focused on giving you an introduction to the skills and etiquette needed to have fun at any Trap range.
For $75 the package includes; instruction, range day fee, targets and ammunition, and the use of firearms if you don’t have your own, yet.We strongly recommend that if you haven’t already purchased a firearm, don’t rush out to buy one before this course just to have your own gun. Let us help you first, gun fit is more important than brand, cost, and looks.

A few key points;
This is a SHOTGUN ONLY range.
NO pistols, rifles, bazookas and field artillery. SHOTGUNS ONLY.
24” minimum barrel length. (Some junior guns are permitted under this min length.)
Think English golf course, not John Wick training facility. Pistol grips, folding stocks, red dots, and other tactical stuff is really fun, it just isn’t necessary for this sport. Your trap gun doesn’t have to be fancy or expensive, (the guy writing this shot an 870 for years), but we aren’t a dynamic shotgun shooting range.
If you want to confirm before you come to the range, give us a ring during operating hours.

We do not rent firearms.
We are not a retail/rental facility. Please don’t show up with a social group expecting to “shoot some guns”, you’ll be disappointed.
There are other wonderful ranges in the lower mainland who do provide this service. DVC indoor range is very close by. The Range at Langley also has a firearm rental option.
We do offer firearms for specific courses; First Time Shooter, Youth Trap Days, and some other events. We don’t store firearms on-site so these firearms are arranged as needed.

We strive to provide a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable gun club and range for all shooters.
While Trap shooting is definitely the main focus here, we’ve found over the years that, rain or shine, people make their way to the clubhouse whenever we’re open, just to connect and socialize.
We have umbrellas over the shooting stands, but on those particularly gruesome cold and rainy nights, you’ll still find multiple games of crib being played, while the players enjoy our wood burning fireplace and a cup of complimentary coffee.
If you’re looking for opinions, we’ve got plenty of those as well. Our members possess centuries of accumulated information about firearms and shooting, hunting, and outdoors stewardship.Come on by during our operating hours just to have a visit and a little tour.

Everyone on our grounds must check in. Members will scan in with their membership cards, but guests must also register.

We are a SHOTGUN ONLY gun range. No pistols, rifles, bazookas, field artillery.
We only shoot Trap.You may bring any calibre of shotgun you wish, but your ammunition must be lead target loads that do not exceed the following specifications;
NO SLUGS - NO BUCKSHOT - NO STEEL
LEAD TARGET LOADS #9, #8, #7.5 only. Max velocity 1300fpsDisclaimer: We think there is a place for all types of firearms, and we try to be as inclusive as possible. That being said, think of Trap shooting like the golf course of gun ranges. We prefer that you leave your dynamic/action/tactical style shotguns at home.
This doesn’t mean your gun has to be expensive, fancy, or have any specific customizations. The guy writing this competed with a Remington 870 for years.
A good trap gun fits you properly. End of story. And since you only load 1 shell at a time, you don’t need extended mag tubes, side saddle shell holders and the other equipment used in dynamic shotgunning. -

Wear layers. It’s the lower mainland, so it’s rainy, windy, sunny, all in the same afternoon.
Don’t wear bulky, loose, awkward clothing. This gets in the way of you mounting your firearm properly, and could present a safety concern.
Bring a hat, and/or hair bands.
“Golf” gloves or similar are fine, but bulky winter gloves aren’t a smart idea.
If you have your own hearing and eye protection bring that, as well as ammo pouches or vests.
We do offer some loaner shooting vests or pouches, while you figure out what works best for you. -
You don’t require a reservation to shoot here.
All the Trap fields are first come, first served. We do have sign up lists at each scoring stand, but if there is an open post, you are welcome to join. We encourage everyone to shoot with anyone, and even on our busiest days it’s rare to have to wait for more than the length of one round.
Don’t be shy, just walk up and introduce yourself. -
Fantastic! You’re interested in taking your shooting to the next level.
Step 1 : You need a PITA number. You can register for that here. This link is for Canadian shooters.
Step 2 : Check out the shoot calendars for a shoot near you.
BCTA Calendar
PITA Calendar
LMFV League
Step 3 : You can often contact a club directly to register. But more and more we are using SOSClays in BC to “squad” you in shoots. That link will take you to their site where you can create a free account. You can also search shoots by zone and register for shoots. They also post results for all the shoots you have shot.
This is a good start, and this encompasses the basics, like having a PITA number. But if you want further info, just come on by some time and chat with the gang at the club. We have a solid group of shooters who compete locally and nationally.
